The Vigil Honor is awarded for distinguished contributions to Scouting and the Order, through exceptional service, personal commitment, and unselfish interest in the welfare of others, beyond immediate responsibilities in the Order of the Arrow, as a member of Blue Heron Lodge of the Tidewater Council.
